Sun?

Or Shadow?

The pics are of two different sides of the old Arsenal at the Louisiana State Capitol Building (the New State Capitol, if you know the difference), which I visited with my parents when they came to visit over Spring Break. (Some more pics here.) I was really struck by the texture on the walls, so I took a bunch of pics, and these two were my favorite, but I can't decide if I like the more even lighting of the Sun one, or the more detailed texture of the Shadow one. What do you think? =)
love architectural photos a lot...i'm leaning toward the one in the sun cause it shows the depth.......very, very nice. now I must wander and see your photos on flickr

Shadow! It's the texture that draws me in, I think!

ReplyDeleteit's more happy :)
Love the sun!
ReplyDeleteThe shadow draws me in more, but I love both!
ReplyDeleteAt first I was leaning toward the sun one because I love light, but the texture comes out so much more on the shade one. Hmmmmmmm! I'm afraid I can't help you, I like them both!!!
ReplyDeleteHi there,
ReplyDeleteI went to Texas yesterday. My dad passed away last year and he lived in Krum for a couple of years. Before that he had land near Bartonville. Anyway, my brothers and I went to clear the house of things because we have sold the house. It was a bitterweet trip. I will probably post about it soon. My daughter sent me a blog to read about their trip in Italy. I don't know if you would be interested in looking at it. It is http://rsuitaly.blogspot.com
